Trident Axe

A friend of mine brought me his hiking hatchet one day and asked if I could make a leather sheath for it. The only stipulation was it had to have a trident on the sheath somewhere. I was a little confused by this request, but this was the theme for the set of 3 sheaths I was making for him.
This axe was so pretty, that I didn’t want to do a traditional sheath that would cover the hand forged look, so I opted to design a more minimalist style that would attach to a belt and still allow for easy access to this amazing tool!

Made from Vegtan leather, copper and brushed brass hardware. Finished with Leather Balm with Atom Wax
