Pocket Mushroom

This chubby little mushroom was a quick build and not my best work. I didn’t have all the tools and chucks for the lathe yet so I used a forsner bit to hollow out this little mushy. The quality of my little mushrooms has greatly improved since this one, but that doesn’t mean that this wasn’t a fun and extremely meaningful mushroom to make! There are some projects that you’ll never forget, and this is one of them.

Made from Maple and African Padauk - finished with Mineral Oil
