The Fire Axe

Ok this was a super amazing project for a friends son. We were on a zoom call one day and her son found out I had axes and was asking me about them. So then I had to ask him what kind of axe was his favorite. He replied with “If you were to AXE me - it would be a fireman’s axe”. The dude was 8 and he inserted a pun into his reply! Let me tell you, the next day I was making a wooden fire axe for him, boxing it up and mailing it to his house!

Is it just me or does the Maple look kind of like Damascus with the lines?
