Padauk Longboard

One night I was wanted to watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (for the 12th time or something) and when it got to the scene in Iceland where he trades Stretch Armstrong for a longboard I got inspired. I decided that I wanted to make a longboard, even though I’d never ridden one. This was the result, my coffin shaped longboard with Norse Runes for Berserker - Safe Travels - Courage.
I made this over a year ago and to date I still haven’t ridden it outside…one day….one day…

Made from African Padauk, Art Resin to fill the Runes and finished with water based varnish
